When I was a little girl, I was put in the care of my full blooded Cherokee great grandmother; who was very wise.I confided in her about how I felt surpressed, angry at the world, resentful, and singled out.She listened full heartedly to my feelings....and then leaned in close to me, telling me a tribal tale that had been passed down throughout our family from generation to generation. "Did you know two wolves in you are fighting?""No."I ansewered."One wolf is black and represents evil. He is jealousy, pride, resentment, anger, ego, self-pity, and guilt."She continued on.."The other wolf is white and represents goodness. He is compassion, truth, kindness, empathy, generosity, and love. Both wolves are battling for a place in your heart.""Well, which one wins?" I asked curiously."Which ever one YOU FEED."
